R'Lyeh III... about to be eaten.

The material has left the mill and is on it's way to our shop. Barring any US Customs SNAFUs (or are they shut down for the government shut down as well? Oh, please please please), it should be here within a week. Will update as things progress.

I thought I felt something vaguely unsettling this morning.:cthulhusmiley:

    Re Customs:

    "Borders

U.S. Customs and Border Protection said it was unsure how the shutdown would affect processing, but it assured that officers would remain on duty at all checkpoints on Tuesday. Delays, however, may be inevitable, with staffing more limited than usual."

    And directly from Customs,

    "Port Security Operations

(10/01/2013)CBP Port of Entry Operations, including CBP Cargo Security and Revenue Collections, as well as Border Security programs, including Border Patrol and CBP Air and Marine Operations, will remain operational under a government shutdown because they have been deemed law enforcement necessary or necessary for the safety of life and protection of property."

Sounds like if it makes it through in the next few days it shouldn't be too delayed, beyond that there might possibly be some issues with a slow down due to limited staffing.

I look forward to seeing the pics of all the finished Kilts and only hope that the US government issues don't cause too much delay for those across the pond.
    Best wishes - Harvey.

So being in the UK, some hours ahead of those of us in the U.S. who have yet to receive this Tartan That Shall Not Be Named. . . does this mean they will automatically be eaten first? NOT FAIR, I say!

It depends on which direction The Great One will move once he wakes. If he heads East those in California or possibly Chile will be eaten first.

If he heads West it would most likely be New Zealand to be consumed earliest.

so despite our fellow UK cultists getting delivery first, they will always be eaten somewhere in the middle of the pack- but still well before the unbelievers, who will be eaten last, and from the toes up.

All praise His Tentacled Greatness! :cthulhusmiley:

1 of the 3 bolts of cloth has landed. I have 2 more pieces coming. With the bolt that's here, we're going to cut out the kilt orders (as opposed to cloth orders) and get started sewing!

Ok now I'm really excited! The chance to be eaten head first has never sounded so good. I've been waiting for this kilt to show-off a nice sporran I got for my birthday(ish)

FYI, guys: The other 2 bolts of cloth that didn't arrive Saturday appear to have gone into US Customs:

I will update the board as soon as I see movement. With the government shutdown recently, I'm not sure HOW long it's taking things to be processed by US Customs. TYPICALLY, shipments are cleared within 10 days to 2 weeks, but I can't be certain just now. When I get my letter from Customs asking for formal declaration from a brokerage, I'll let you guys know. Typically, the package is in hand about 3 or 4 days after we get that letter and have our broker process it.
