    Sporran for my nephew

My nephew needed a sporran for his role in my upcoming wedding so instead of going the normal kids route of just buying one I decided to make him one. He has a love of LEGO's bordering on an obsession and anything connected with them. Had some veg tan leather and other assorted scraps of leather hanging about as well as some free time. So after racking my brain on how to do something I came up with this...

I lined the inside with black suede just because I had it on hand. It is sized between a childs size and an full size adult sporran, at just under 6 inches across. I will just need to remind him that its all leather so no LEGO's were harmed in the making of it.

That's fantastic! It looks like everything is close to the right size - can you mount a few legos on the front?

I had my groomsmen wear magnetic Star Wars lego minifigs instead of boutineers at my wedding. http://www.macawesome.net/wedding/064lrg.jpg

WOW - my son would have loved that when he was younger. Not so much now, he's 28.

Truly, that must be the very best home-made sporran I have ever seen - bar none!
