I'm with you, Casey. I wear a Balmoral generally out of doors and including formal wear, such as attending Highland Games. I have hitherto worn a white cockade to signify my clan ( Farquharson) being strong Jacobites. I might take up your suggestion of using the livery colours ( white and green) from my Coat of Arms.
I wear a deerstalker flat tweed cap for fishing, hillwalking or bad weather.
