    Just an aside- If they are the same Cinnamon Hose from House of Cheviot that I have, they are much closer to safety orange than saffron.

    Have you considered a bow tie? I inherited a collection of self tie bow ties a while ago and have started wearing them with my tweed jackets. It gives a different look.

    The Parkers are originally of Anglo-Norman stock but they have been in Perthshire for quite some time. There are quite a few of them in Ireland, especially in Ulster.
