Dear Ken my wife and I went to Ireland and Scotland in 2011 for our 20th wedding anniversary and the tour went right through Glencoe, beautiful area. Anyway 5 years earlier my red headed daughter bought a Campbell kilt in Edinburgh. And twenty miles from glencoe in Newtonmore we had a taste of Scotland night. The Campbell kilt did not go over so well with the folks there to say the least. I had to let the bartender know that my ancestors were Maxwells and not Campbells and the kilt was a mistake. I guess I won't make that mistake ever again. Great looking kilt you have best regards Mattie

Now these are the shots that I have been waiting for to see the "Leafpeeper" with. Absolutely magnificent Ken. No wonder you had the inspiration to design the tartan. Cheers and thanks for the pics.

Ken: I could not agree more. Beautiful kilt, great pictures. If you stepped back into those woods, you would disappear. You want to be careful about that, especially during hunting season.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Ken, that is a beautiful tartan and you wear your kilt well.
I had the good fortune some years ago... a lot of years actually, to travel through the Cascade Mountains in Washington State in autumn. The colours of those woodlands literally blew me away and is a lasting aspect on my memories of that particular trip.
I appreciate the Cascades aren't your neck of the woods but your Kilt and it's tartan design captures those vivid autumnal hues majestically.

Thanks for posting this crackin' series of photos.
