I honestly can't believe what comes up on ebay sometimes. I'm beginning to think these are put up for sale as a joke.

The headed one is stamped Lawrie on the back but interior shots make it obvious that somebody tacked this terror onto an existing sporran body. Perhaps the moths had gotten to the original? In any case, they're both horrors in their own right.

Hahaha! Quite right, mate.
You must be referring to the smaller mink and polecat sporrans that Kate offers, which are indeed the appropriate size ratio for a child. I do agree, unless of course the wee lad has been continuously exposed to such sporrans. For example, His Grace the Duke of Argyll's two boys, my Chief's (Sir William Macpherson of Cluny and Blairgowrie) grandson, who wears a full mask sporran made from a Scottish Wildcat at our annual gathering in Badenoch, Cameron of Lochiel's son, etc. However, sporrans in such Highland families as I described, are more than likely passed down from one generation to the next without it being necessary to go out and buy a new one.
