I wear a ballseball cap scally porkpie, kangol... what ever i feel like when i reach in the closest to grab something off the hat wall.
but i have been try'n to break myself of the Hat bug as the ol' hairline is creaping ever further back, i figure if i can stave off complete baldness for a few more years it will save on the cost of razors later. (once i reach a state of comb over it's all gone not a single bit will be left I will Bic it all)

Mostly I wear a tan beret with the Clan badge. Now and then a black western hat with a gold cavalry cord.

I've got a couple of Kangols that I wear, and a black wool scally (a la TJ Maxx discount rack.) I haven't worn them much this summer, due to heat, but plan to wear them more when it finally cools off.

I've just started wearing an akubra, it takes more nerve to wear a hat round here than a kilt.
Although it's ok for old gaffers to wear a flat cap, but only if they have a whippet and race pigeons

I prefer to not wear one, but since my hair is thinning rapidly the sun is taking a toll on my head. I wear for formal (at this time anyway) a scally.
Casual is something else, I have several cowboy style hats, some even look very similar to an akruba, but they come in different colors (white brown and black). I also wear a green hiking hat that changes shape any time that I want, so who knows what it looks like I also have been known to wear baseball caps, and berets.

Well you all know what I wear but what's this "I will wear a scally cap (not a la Graham, but a la Colin)" stuff Colin?? a la graham indeed!!
In the summer I wear an Akubra, and this is an interesting point:
Rhino said "I've just started wearing an akubra, it takes more nerve to wear a hat round here than a kilt."
Why? because Akubra's are not commonly seen or maybe accepted in his area. Which brings me back to the point about plain kilts in Australia.
I think it takes the same nerve to wear a plain kilt here as it does for Rhino to wear the Akubra in his area.
An Akubra wearer here would not attract a second look (unless he also wore a kilt).
Sorry to get off topic, but I thought it was interesting.

I wear a black beret with the clan badge on it. If I'm going to a more formal function, no headgear.

I wear a Kangol. a Black Stewart cap in the same style, or one of three "Snowy River" (think of the movie "The Man From Snowy River") I have depending on the weather and our lovely North Dakota wind. I only wear baseball caps if I'm doing yard work and sweating. All of these I wear generaly whether Kilted or not. Recently I ordered a Tam O'Shanter from 13th Colony Apparel, Jim makes these himself and does great work, sadly I mismeasured so we are redoing the hat .... more on the "look" in another post when I have the one that fits.
