Ken: I received an email from the SRT this morning announcing your "Leaf Peeper" tartan - a nicely balanced tartan with great fall colors, as you have already demonstrated to us. Congratulations. I particularly liked your registration notes explaining the inspiration, the name, and the color scheme. You did a great job and created something with enduring value.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Thanks all, for the nice remarks. As basic and simple as the tartan is ("less is more"), I think it worked out really well for it's intended purpose. I'm quite pleased with it.

The paper certificate arrived yesterday at my local post office. I picked it up today, six weeks after the application was submitted.

Being an A4-sized document, in a country where 8.5"x11" is the standard, I'll need an oversized frame for it, with perhaps double matting. And if I'm going to do that, I should use a size large enough to include a sample of the tartan... perhaps a full 7-inch square to show the whole sett. Of course, that will leave large areas of the mat-board unused... so maybe add a photo... or two of the kilt.... and...

I'd likely end up with this little piece of paper surrounded by a 24"x36" frame. LOL

Really, you could put something like that together and mount it on a wall. It would definitely be a conversation piece.

Absolutely, in a frame with a sample of the tartan is a great idea - don't file it away somewhere, you deserve to show it off.
