    This tartan does look particularly nice pleated to the sett, I suppose because it's not very busy and has a large repeat. Food for thought for when I get around to my 6 yarder!

    The sett is a hair under 9 inches so it makes for some really excellent swish. You could make an excellent box pleated kilt, pleated to the sett with the pleats being just shy of 2 and a quarter inches.
