My MacDonald philibeag is here already! Rocky just got it started on Monday, and it's here on Wednesday morning! Now that's service! I really love the new kilt. It fits like it was made for me!

Good news Donnie, we all share your joy! I don;t know how they make kilts so fast, I'm a bit concerned they may be employing a few dozen illegal immigrants, maybe a bunch of leprechauns from ireland!
Tell me more about the philabeg, I'm thinking of ordering one, how is the weight and feel, how do the pleats look?
Do you have a camera? I'd love to see a piccie or two (don't forget the rear end)

The only kilts I have to compare the philibeag to are my 8yd Bearkilt, and a Sportkilt I bought two years ago. The philibeag is a little lighter than the Bearkilt, although the PV seems to be about the same thickness. It is way heaver than the Sportkilt. I probobly won't be wearing the Sportkilt anymore! The pleating is great, not as Deep as the 8yd but very nice. They have a great swing to them. I'll try to get some pictures posted soon!

Donnie... I'm glad you liked it! The pleats on our Philabeg model are a bit wider and not quite as deep as our Traditional model, but they're still custom made to fit you like a glove. If you want a heavier and deeper pleated kilt, take a look at our Traditionals (or just ask Richardjohnson the difference ). Each model (i.e. Pricepoint) is there for a specific reason.
Post some "ACTION PICS" for us!

It's easy Donnie, just put the piccie in your personal gallery, to do that click "galleries" at the top of the page, then "your personal gallery" at the bottome of the next page, then click "upload" and point to where your picture is on your hard drive.
