That horrible neck pain that I was talking about, and was keeping me from helping to move you in, is clearing-up nicely!

Get a good Irish Pub with Guinness and I might just help to paint it too... veeeeeery slooooooowly.

If I can figure out a washable buckle I'll do buckles. For my wool kilts, I'll do leather buckles, of course. (Unless someone wants velcro for either one.)

I would think that the leather straps would still be machine washable, but they could not go in the dryer, and the kilt would have to be hung up to dry. I do this with all my kilts anyway. Still quicker and cheaper than dry cleaning.

As for straps has anyone tried of reinforced rubber or plastic.. that could be machine washable.
