Proliferation indeed. Quite why they can't go back to Wilsons' original seting and colours, which are outstanding, is beyond me.

Having worked in local gov't in that area, and knowing how much a "designer" charged for a logo, I can only imagine how much this will cost tax payers.

I was wondering about the cost, also. There's another thread around about some brewing company designing their own tartan, too. I wonder if all that is cost effective? I mean, it must cost a bit to get all this done and the resulting tartans never seem to be used much, do they?
