Northern Ireland Pipe Band Championships

I have posted a few picture I took at the Championships. The bands where fantastic and the standard was world class in fact a local band The Field Marshall Mongomery Memorial Band are the world champions. They won the Trophy a few weeks ago in Glasgow. The range of tartans used by bands is quite something and I have seen a couple I like. Like every thing else it so hard to select the favorite as I am seriously looking for a new kilt.

If I'm not mistaken (which could very well be), in the photo of the two gents talking, the fellow wearing a glengarries and black Argyll jacket with arms crossed over his chest is wearing the "Red Ulster" tartan?
