The source that I used showed the two makers marks, one just RA, the other R.A and noted that they were both registered in 1954. Also this link maybe of some use. It is discussing bagpipes made by R G Lawrie with the 3 locations stamped on them. http://forums.bobdunsire.com/forums/...ad.php?t=62286

If and when you sell the hose- be sure to describe them as diced or tartan kilt hose, not just argyle socks. It might also be good to figure out which tartans they go well with- there could be several. I think eBay would be the way to go there and December is an ideal time to sell on eBay. Good Luck.
Some take the high road and some take the low road. Who's in the gutter? MacLowlife

Precisely. Also, Timothy at the House of Labhran may be interested in some of the items, especially the dirk and sgian dubh, I'm thinking. Best of luck!

I imagine there will be interest here, whether you use the sales forum or eBay. Please let us know when you sell these!

    Cordially,
    Patrick
