    1/2 my jonesing is over

I have been jonsesing for 2 kilts recently. One is a "value" 5yd kilt from J. Higgins and the other is an 8yd Nova Scotia tartan kilt from Keltoi.
Today I received my J. Higgins "value" kilt and must say that I am very pleased with the kilt. It is well worth the price. The customer service was excellent and the entire transaction from time of order to delivery was less than a month. I also should be getting my Keltoi kilt fairly soon, I hope.
The kilt from J. Higgins is the Stewart Navy tartan in the modern colorway.

Nice! It is always fun to get and wear a new kilt. It looks great and now for more pics.

Tried a 5 yd kilt for the first time ever last week, and honestly felt like I was wearing a skirt. NO way anyone will ever move me away from 8yd, 19 oz. Synthetic or wool. Only difference there I find is that synthetic needs to be pressed more frequently. But the 5yd item had me wondering periodically if the thing was stuck to my shoulders without me realising it. Will have to look through the forums when I have some more time and see what others think of short yard kilts.
