    New tweed argyll

I wore my recently acquired tweed jacket out to the St. Andrew's Night Festivities last night. There was a good turn out and xmarks was well represented. Photos will find their way here eventually, but for now, here's one of me alone after I left the bar that I'm posting just as a way to showcase the jacket. Sorry about the unbalanced lighting in the cell phone pic, I was standing directly under a light fixture so it's hard to make out the fact that my hose were bottle green.

In the second pic, the bottom of my waistcoat is riding up, it wasn't too long and was fine for the evening...

That's a bold check jacket Nathan and very nice, if I may say so. I also like that you have paired it with a plain coloured waistcoat. Looking extremely well turned out.

    Hawk

As am I, Hawk! They weren't taken on my camera because it doesn't do so well in low light although it probably would if I spent time messing with the settings more. I'm sure they'll show up on here before too long. It was a splendid evening!

Thanks, Downunder Kilt. I have a lovat green jacket that is less bold but I saw this on ebay and couldn't resist. It's nice to have the option to wear one that isn't so run of the mill, but I still think the other will get plenty of wear.

You can see the colours better in this photo courtesy of CmcG. I think he'll be posting more at some point today or tomorrow.

    Cheers!

I dig that jacket! I'm a fan of patterned tweed jackets anyway, but yours really looks nice. Especially with the waistcoat you chose.

Nice touch with the pocket square too.

I couldn't agree more! Very smart indeed. Well done Nathan, and welcome to the "Bold Tweed Argyll Jacket Club (BTAJC)!" Hahaha!

    Cheers!
