When was the last time we had a kilt night in the Metroplex? Like Wolf Brand Chili; whenever it was, that was too long! Lightcatcher Winery in Fort Worth is hosting a Celtic Christmas on Sunday, December 8th. Admission is a $10 toy/person that goes to Toys for Tots. The Trinity River Whalers are playing from 4-7pm, so no one will be out late on a Sunday evening. They have a good kitchen and of course, good wine. Come on guys, it a great excuse to don the kilt and do some good! What say ye? Dean

Just a reminder, but apparently no one is interested. Dean
Sorry, just too much going on this time of year or I would try to make it up there.

I wish it was on a Saturday night rather than Sunday.....
Going to a dinner down here, and it's a bit too far to drive. How's the weather supposed to be Sunday?

I just saw where the event has been moved to next Sunday (12/15) from 3-5pm. Dean
Next time yall are having a kilt night, let me know. Just got back from the North Texas Irish Fest, so much fun.
There is a new microbrewery opening in Keller in April. They will be brewing Irish ales. Perhaps we could get a kilt night going for that. The brewery's website is http://shannonbrewing.com/ Dean

Not any of my business what you folks in DFW do as regards a kilt night but here in the Pacific NW we don't wait on something special to be happening. We just schedule a mutually agreeable night and place and when we meet it always turn into something special. Good luck with your kilt nights. (By the way, I love your farmer's market!)
