Absolutely outstanding. Well done to all who participated. A remarkable job all round. Special round of applause to Derek for instigating and bringing this project together.

Hey, You kept the tag at the end.....
Anybody can join in the fun. I will post a pic of me doing the backing vocals soon. If I can hold my laptop in my hands and sing into the little slot where the mic is, anybody else can too. The hardest part was not hearing myself sing....
Well done Derek and all.

The track sounds good.
I sincerely apologise for my previous post. It was harsh, uncalled-for, and downright rude.
Lots of hard work went into this and fun was had.

Reason: A generous helping of self-correction.

Derek's concept was brilliant, and made possible by the technology we have nowadays, where I can go into a studio in California and lay down tracks while playing along with tracks Derek had earlier laid down in Wales, and then Derek can move the various tracks around and create a composition... how cool is that?
Thanks for the link to the background on this great effort!

Hi gang
Late to the party as always, and I'd really like to listen to this but my computer just won't play the file that's been linked. Not sure what's blocking it. (I do run a LOT of anti-ad and anti-crud blockers so one of them may be the culprit.) Regardless,is there any chance of putting up a straight MP3 or similar audio file?
Many thanks
JT

Just had a random thought: perhaps somebody talented in Photoshop could create a visual parallel to that song, that is, a group photo of the band appearing to show us all standing together...

Brilliant! My late father often whistled and sang this tune when I was young, I think it was one of his mother's favorites. Quite a remarkable effort by all. Brought back some fond memories and a tear.
Cheers to you all!

Hi Bren .... I did read your post and I am sorry If I have upset you. Not intended I assure you. Your drums are on the track though, throughout the last verse, last two chorus's and all the outro, although I had to use your mp3 rough mix you sent me to fit them in quickly as I have to step away from this project just for a couple weeks due to work my end with gigs etc leading up to Christmas.
The whole track is, as I said, completely still 'work in progress' and I still have your individual wavs to fit throughout the song. I will get there ... This track was just our experimental one and in the new year we can all get together on line and sort a few more songs that we would all like to do. The whole project is just a fun project for us all to participate in ...
Great idea OC ...
