Thanks for the kind welcome! I lost my kilt in the divorce (don't ask), and am currently scraping together the tin for a new one. Photos from central Texas will follow from there!
I looks to be a great rabble to be a part of.

I'm glad you found us and and decided to join the kilted rabble.

Hawk,
I am having a great time searching the site. Learning a lot about the nuances of Highland dress in the US, and looking forward to putting it all to use!
Regards,
Patrick

I found a pleasant local girl who will put me up, and will put up with me! She is working to drag me out of caves and out of the 18th Century. Maybe we'll go hiking there.

Yikes! I had assumed the admiration would be universal. You shake my worldview to the core, Hawk!
Best,

USERNAME CHANGE: Troglodyte no more!
I was so impressed with the coat of arms that fellow XMarker Harold Cannon made for me, that I have changed my username to reflect my crest.
I'll post the arms on the heraldry board later today to brag on his handiwork a little.
Best,
Patrick
