Wisconsin Winter
Our town has a full day of Christmas festivities starting with a breakfast with Santa, craft bazars, ornament making, town
tree decorating, chili feed, town lights, bake sale for the food shelf and ending with a parade through both
blocks of town. Of the thousand pictures or so of all the kids after the parade my wife took this one of me to send to my family
back home. I thought I thought it would be fun post it here too.
This was after the big light up and parade. The day started out at -17F for the breakfast and got warmer throughout the day -5f at 2:00
at 6:00pm was when we took the pic.

Impressive. I went to an outside holiday event yesterday, but just couldn't kilt up for temperatures in the mid-teens.

I wore my kilt to an outdoor Christmas event and had a bunch of folks coming up and asking "Aren't you cold, dressed that way?" My reply was "How can I be cold with 8 yards of Scotland's finest wool around my waist?"

Thanks my usual reply to people when they say, "aren't you cold?" Is, " I've tried it both ways and I'm usually warmer With the kilt than without it."

Well done, but I would have definitely ditched the Argyle for a proper parka.

wow kilted at below 0.
I can't imagine.
It almost never gets down to freezing here. Yesterday was blazing sun and temps in the 70s.
