I agree with all the other comments--this was a wonderful performance and all the more so when you realize that its performers contributed from around the world. I forget sometimes what an amazing thing the internet is, but this really brought that thought to the fore. Kudos to Derek and all his Rabble.

Your lady sure can sing, Derek. Very reminiscent, as someone said above, of Clannad.

Another cool idea there Derek! Kilts required, I would think!
At first I was thinking we should agree on some sort of matching neutral background, say black, so that 'cuts' would be smoother, but then I realised that doing so would defeat the whole point, that we live in far-flung places.
How about shooting the videos, as far as possible, at various scenic, typical, or iconic locales in our own home areas? I could be sitting on a cliff with the Pacific Ocean stretching out below, or in front of the iconic Hollywood sign, or in front of the LA skyline, or whatever. It's all within convenient driving distance to me.

Sorry BDV ... I stand corrected ... the name .. The Rabble = BDV + Panache
OCR ... wow ... what a great idea for doing a video ... perhaps we could all do a couple of takes from various locations and then I can edit them all up here. I have a program to do that but have never used it as yet. I can think of several places I could go ... the waterfalls, The Red Cow, The Garth Mountain ..
