Clan Cunningham Now Has a Chief
In an Interlocutor published today the Lord Lyon King of Arms, William Sellar has recognised Sir John Christopher Foggo Montgomery Cuninghame of Corsehill, 12th Baronet of Corsehill, as Head of the Cunningham family.
After a gap of 200 years Clan Cunningham once again has a Chief!

Congratulations to the Cunninghams! My own clan was "chiefless" for around 200 years so I can relate.

That is unless you ask Clan Campbell who claim you folks as a sept;). Based on your clan crest there must be some credibility to the connection. Still, as the descendants of Thompsons, I'm happy to see Thompsons and MacTavishes stand on their own two feet.
Congratulations to Clan Cunningham!
