I am giving a bottle of local aged moonshine to our nephew and to his wife, a bottle of aged burbon. Same distillery.
And christmas eve might I am opening a bottle of clear moonshine.
All of these are local and made with local corn by the name of Oletha Sweet Sweet Corn.
Best corn I have tasted.

If you cannot fix it, mess it up so bad that no one else can either.

My goodness, the weather here is really grim tonight. Lashing rain and wind. I am consoling myself with a largish glass of Jack Daniel's no 7. I'm not adverse to the occasional foray into whiskey, as opposed to my usual whisky and to be honest, it ain't half bad!

Alternating between Dalwhinnie 15 and Dalmore 12. Variety is the spice of life.

This evening I'm sipping Barrel Rested Cardinal Gin. It's from a distillery in Kings Mountain, NC.

My wife calls it whiskey gin.

I'm with Kevin. Macallan 12 is one of my favorites. I think its even better than the 15 Cask Strength. Better nose and taste and smooth going down. Goes great with a cigar as well.

I got a bottle of Aberlour A'bunadh for Christmas and had a dram last night. Very nice indeed and I'll be having another dram or two tonight!
