generalisation...
I agree with the previous poster: don't generalise all "traditional" kilts because you saw one bad egg. Since none of us saw it firsthand, we are really in no place to judge at all.
Considering all of the positive posts on this thread, I think it is safe to say that many of us own traditional kilts and are overall pleased with them and their makers. I know I certainly am pleased with mine. Don't get me wrong, I like the "cut" of Bear's kilts, and I'm sure some of the other "casual" folks turn out fine products, but I am a "bluff old traditionalist" at heart who likes my expensive tank.
