Hello from Helensburgh
Hi - many years ago, our aunts made us hand-cut pleated kilts which we wore to school with great glee. I don't know that they felt quite the same about them when we came back from school in the winter-time with the pleats caked with ice because we'd been hunkered down on a slide in the school playground. A very uncomfortable walk home it was, too.
I'm not sure how much I've matured but I guess we'll find out as time marches on!

Welcome Margaret, from New South Wales. Only an hour till the New Years Eve fireworks on Sydney harbour. Happy new year!
Your Helensburgh is in which part of the world? It doesn't sound like the one between Sydney and Wollongong.
