Gonna be some interesting pictures
My son is getting married in June to his girlfriend of several years. She has significant Celtic heritage, and has announced that
Joe, my son, will be kilted for the wedding. So first we had to decide what tartan to get his kilt. he has decided to wear the
clan tartan, Davidson, altho the Air Force tartan was a contender. So we are shortly going to order a Semi-Trad from Rocky.
His two sons will get USA Casuals also in Davidson. I have a son-in-law and grandson who have MacLaren kilts (they are
both Scouts), and another son-in-law with a Black Watch kilt. His sons are pretty young, so we will have get something like a
Stillwater youth tartan for them. The younger granddaughters will be flower girls dressed in jumpers in Davidson. Various
tartan ribbon and other decorations will abound. Mindy (Joe's fiancée) is a great woman, and I love her already. Her family is basically unable to help out in the planning and execution, but that's ok, Michele is a terrific planner and already jumped in.
I have been told to keep my signing hand limber <big grin>.

Congratulations on the upcoming marriage, and condolences on the upcoming expenses!
As a fellow Davidson, I would also look at the Davidson Ancient/Old color selections are awesome, especially pleated to the red stripe.

Geoff,
We've been pretty happy with the baby and kids' kilts we got from Sportkilt.

Actually, just the guys. The women in this family all feel the kilt should remain a particularly masculine garment, and wear tartan skirts, sometimes pleated or not, but not kilts. NOT putting down ladies who choose otherwise.
