Close Hamish. It's between Hastings and Water street, just a few shops down the street from Carrall and Cordova. 30 East Cordova to be exact.
It's a tiny place, so I doubt I'll be doing a cocktail party but I might do a bit of advertising in the newspaper in the way of an announcement.
Of course, I'll post here about the opening, too!

Errr! Ummm! My USA/Canada road atlas does not go into sufficient detail for me to get closer than Hastings!!!
Thanks for the address Terry. I'll need it for my first visit to Vancouver, next August....... by which time, I'll own a dedicated street guide to the city!

I now have a Formal Cut Bear Kilt page.
Of all the pics I took, only one was decent enough to put on the site. (I always have to take 25 pics to get one decent one.)

Let me be the first to say it:
Hubba Hubba!
That's one sleek looking kilt. Were I a ninja attending a formal event in a kilt, I would wear this one. 8) 8)
And keeping it the same price as the other models was a nice touch of class. But making it snow last night here in Edmonton was unnecessarily cruel. What did we ever do to you?
Make up your mind. Classy kilt maker or cruel snow-god. Not both.

Snow? What's that?
It's 11:30 PM and my place is still too warm for my tastes, even with all the windows open.
Besides, I didn't make it snow. The NHL brass and the NHLPA reps took all the hot air for their negotiations.
The kilt in the pic is a bit rough. It's the prototype for the Formal Cuts, so it's been altered a few times. The customer's Formal Cuts will hang much nicer.
I wore this one to the last Kilts Night and everyone seemed to like it well enough.

Vancouverites do not have a proper concept of snow. They sure don't know how to drive in it.
Keep you snow in Edmonton. We moved to Ottawa to get away from that.

How does one measure for the formal kilt?

Sure we do Casey, we get to gaze at it on the mountains (where it should be) every single day.
Great looking kilt Bear. You have outdone yourself this time. I look forward to the chance to see one in person (and likely ordering one too!)
