    I've come across his name from my past work with Scottish Tribunals, but have not met him in person.
    He has considerable legal experience which he can bring to the post, plus a long standing interest in heraldry.
    Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

    Very interesting news. Thanks for bringing it before the rabble!

    As a general fan of the tinctures Purpure and Or, I have to say I find his arms to be quite striking.

    I agree; also the colours of my alma mater (Fontbonne University in St. Louis). Lyon's Arms also adhere to the lovely quality of Scots Heraldry in that they are quite simple and not "busy" in the slightest.
