New Sporran

Greetings all ,

Just wanted to share a new custom sporran that I had made by " Bonsai Sporrans " .

Yes , I know , they are often known for some rather bizarre sporrans , but they actually can make some very nice custom sporrans .

I requested a brown leather cantle , no tassels and Icelandic sheep hair .

Here is the result and I am very pleased .



I will post more pics later of the sporran being worn .

Very,very nice Mike. To me, the leather cantle with the hair makes the sporran most suitable for daywear but still retains the formality to be able to be worn to evening functions. Excellent buy mate. Cheers

I'd like to echo what everyone else has said. It is lovely. I have seen that leather cantle andI really like it. (like the belt too). If fact, if you get tired of it and want to give it away .... welll... you know.

Thanks everyone ! John at Bonsai is very good to work with and even though they do the occasional zebra sporran , they do make some very nice sporrans and custom pieces .

DK , you hit the nail on the head , when I requested this combination of cantle and hair I had day wear and evening wear in mind .
