It looks like the timing on this won't work for me. Have a good one, folks!

We need a 'Nay' button to go with the 'Aye' button!

I would love to be there but am once again away in the USA on business. I will miss my local Burn's Night celebrations as well. Crap!

Folks,
One last reminder of the Burns Night tonight at the Royal Oak, Whitby Shores 617 Victoria St. West in Whitby, Ontario from 6 - 10 PM.
An original poem in honour of the occasion:
To those that sent your sad regrets/
you will be surely missed/
To those who choose to come along/
you'll grant this minstrel's wish/
We'll toast the bonnie bard named Burns or "Rabbie" if you will/
Then share the drams and haggis until each man gets his fill/
The skirl of pipes will echo off of Lake Ontario/
Will poems in the Ayrshire tongue leave you contrary? No./
Contrary? On the contrary! You'll have a merry time/
For Burns the bard's wordsmithing skills surpass this simple rhyme/
And ribald tales of game wee lassies, and of mice and men/
Will leave you with a happy heart, till we do this again/
Some celebrate some battle in a grizzly distant war/
But the bravest nation toasts a lad who loved to score/
And so t'will be this very night, for all that come out with me/
The pub is called the Royal Oak, the town is known as "Whitby".
