One of the things I've enjoyed here is that when you ask for help, you usually get it, like when Jim asked and all the people stepped up to push me out front. Or when I asked that nobody bring anything heavy to throw. Though I will say, this being my first Burns Supper, right up 'til about the middle of the address I had thought the neeps and tatties were to be eaten. Kudos to Rocky for teflon coated kilts.

And Thomas is only showing part of the rabble. A fine evening with excellent entertainment, the best haggis you can imagine, and boon companions all around.

Oh, and, tpa, the reiving went pretty well. We almost got caught one time, but tripleblessed kept them busy reciting all of "Tam o Shanter" while we made off with the cattle. We have some pretty good prices on beef if anyone is interested!

I had a great time and thanks to Thomas and his lovely wife for letting me dine with them, as my wife was home with the kids due to babysitter cancelation issues.
I am ready and waiting for next year!

As a MacFarlane we normally do not pay for our beef (we just take it). But I guess I can purchase some from you as long as it is from Clan Colquhoun!
    LOCH SLOY!

Sounds like a good night was had by all. We just sat at home and washed the haggis down with whisky. don't think there is anyone close enough for a get together in central England.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

If nothing else, we should declare a Great SEKS Kilt Night at Blairsville.

And Wil, we Robertsons like Lindsay beef. Somehow, knowing it was lovingly raised by the Lindsays just makes it taste better.

Thats not the least bit funny. You know what happened to those McGreggors...lost their name.....and the Colquhoun's finally went to the king and said we'd come to a peace and appealed for them to have it back....so the moral of the story is - be careful try'n to borrow "slow food" from the Colquhoun's......
