Well, since you solicited opinions...
After finding out first hand on more than one occasion how EBay by policy places a greater onus upon the buyer to honor his side of the transaction than it does on the seller to honor his, I am not the biggest fan of the on-line auction. I can easily ignore its presence, however, and it really wouldn't be of concern were it not for the fact that the XBay form crowds the "Most Recent" list on the home page.
Since that list makes it easier to keep track of current happenings on this board, as well as serves to keep some more obscure topics at the forefront where they can catch the eye before slipping into relative obscurity, I have often mused how helpful it could be were that list expanded to 7 or more recent posts. Instead, along with the ease of use of this board, it is now diminished.

I was hoping xBay was not related to eBay. While I do use eBay regularly and ususally with few problems, the link through caught me off guard.
Especially since it goes through Adfarm/Mediaplex, so somebody is making money off our click-throughs.
If that dime is going to the X Marks pocket, I'm all for it. But there's quite a bit of chaff on the listings I saw, and the searches I've built on my eBay are better suited to my taste.
Good to see the ideas growing and X Marks expanding!
Find power in peace,

Looks cool, but, there needs to be some refining of the search terms. Seems to search on "kilt" as the only term, as opposed to kilt -(mini, skirt, schoolgirl), etc...

I will work on refining the search.
I am an ebay affiliate so the money does go back to XMarks.
I have never had a minutes problem with ebay by the way...

Thanks to ggibby I now have a little better control over what is displayed in the auction results. I am sure a few things will slip in but for the most part I think the auction results are better. Thanks ggibby.
