I think Hank has to start a new forum! "Shades of Graham in Green". I know he's on his way with a green sporran so we will have to come up with outfits that match. Hats, shoes hose(tights) etc. ( Now Robert is seen disapperaing into the horizon far from anything down under )
    Cheers
Robert, you are closer to the mark than you may imagine....

As a signwriter i guess colour is special to me, colour and it's meaning, effect and significance.

for years my corporate colour was blue, my truck was blue, my uniform and business cards etc.

After my first trip to Ireland and getting really into celtic studies I changed to green. I repainted my truck, changed logos the whole deal!

After getting into kilts (which are basically Scottish and the St.andrews flag being blue) and finding tartans that are able to beautifully blend greens and blues, like my Morrison tartan - something special has happened...

I've found a blending of blue and green, not just the colours, but philosophically, culturally, and artistically.

OK, now you are convinced I'm off my trolly and i cannot explain it well except to say that kilts and tartans bring a host of things together that i feel are part of my identity, and who I am.

but...green tights are not part of the deal - sorry.

Sorry Robert, but I cannot get to the article without paying the newspaper, or at least giving them my Credit Card details! Tried registering for a 14-day free trial but they don't seem to like me!!

From what the others have written it seems to be a feather in your cap so, Well Done!

    Thanks Hamish,
John Allen printed the article in this thread.
I'm very pleased how it turned out and I've been very busy as a result.
I must have a word with the Globular Mail folk...imagine denying the great Ham a free 14 day trial....this is unheard of! ( I could mail you a copy if you wish....I have an extra...)
    Cheers
