    Losing login memory

    Hi:
Not a big issue but slightly annoying: On both my PC and iPad, I'm having to login every time I visit, the last 2-3 days; the "remember me" function isn't remembering. Anything I need to do on my end, or do you know if you can fix on yours?
    Thanks,
    Joseph

Please try clearing you browser cookies and cache. That often helps.

I have run into this several times , but it has never been something going wrong on the XMarks site . In my experience it has always been a " data mining bug " that I have picked up somewhere while browsing other internet sites .

The bug will eliminate your login and passwords ( not just to XMarks , but other areas as well ) that are stored on your devices . It wants to force you to " re-login " so that it can capture your login and password information .

Whenever this happens I always run my anti-virus scan to eliminate the bug . Then I start logging back into to the various sites .

This may or may not be the problem , but when you have to start re-logging into sites that were never a problem before , its generally a sign of a bug that's trying to capture your identification info , such as login ID's and passwords .

Hope this helps . Cheers , Mike

Additionally, Firefox 26.0 defaults to a private mode for browsing when/if you update from 25. If you are using Firefox, click Tools>Options>Privacy> Change the options under "History" from "Never Remember History" to either "remember history" or "Use custom settings for history".

I use custom settings; I uncheck private mode and clear history, and check the rest.
