GREEN TWEED NEW JACKET & VEST MADE TO MEASURE - Ebay
Hello all!
I saw that there was an older closed thread regarding this topic
http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/f...47/index4.html
(If for whatever reason this topic was deemed taboo and closed, moderators please feel free to delete this thread)
I was curious as to whether or not the folks that did indeed order this item were pleased or displeased with the garments quality and fit.
I ordered one about 2 1/2 weeks ago and have been mulling this over ever since.
I am curious because because their required measurements were not that broad, those being merely a chest and height measurement (although I did provide several more!).
Any information regarding said garment is welcome.
Kindest regards,
-Christopher

That original site was "Tartan4Less" which does not seem to exist anymore. There is a "Kilt4Less" site which appears to have the same jacket. Is that what you are questioning?

Whatever name it is being sold under, it is a really nice looking jacket. Let us know how it turns out. You will be the best dressed kilt wearer in Midland. I think the earlier thread was closed because it was old.

A couple of xmarks users have purchased this from them. You might want to read this thread before you hit "buy it now":

On the other hand, you may wish to read this experience which was better:

Hi Christopher you may want to take a closer look at my avatar picture. The jacket and waistcoat that I am wearing is exactly the one that I purchased from T4L. Nathan has provided a link (see above) which contains my sorry saga about my dealings with the company. The waistcoat arrived without any buttons and the Jacket never had a button hole. Suffice to say that I eventually did get the jacket finished off by a local tailor. Am I pleased with it? on the whole yes, would I buy from them again.? no for the hassle I had I would rather pay a bit more and go to a known tailor.

I bought one of those sets last Fall. I wouldn't call it made-to-order since it was just off-the-rack sizing. Overall, no issues with the set I received. I really like the color and the feel of the tweed material. I did that purchase before I found XMarks and the advertisers here.

Thank you everyone for your candid input. I wish I'd seen those links prior but as long as the material itself is okay (and doesn't smell of curry) I can deal with necessary alterations from my tailor.
Grizzly... I am amazed that something as obvious as buttons, much less their corresponding buttons ,could have gone unchecked. I'm glad that it, in the end, worked out for you.
Again, thank you all for your input as well as example photos! I do so like the colour.
Wish me luck on my order and I will post pics after it comes home from the now expected trip to my tailor.
-Cheers
Christopher
