    The American flag does is not required by regulation, code or act to be carried higher or on a taller flagstaff than another flag. The stipulation in the relevent code states "inter alia" that no other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America. S175 US Code.
