1st kilt!!
Just pulled the trigger on my 1st kilt. I went with an 8 yard 16oz sett pleat, in the House of Edger Lamont modern. USA kilts will be doing it for me. Now I just need hose, a sporran, belt, buckle, etc etc etc...WHOO HOO!!

Welcome to the madness and poverty. Good choice of kiltmaker, USAkilts has a justifiably fantastic reputation.

Congratulations! Great choices. Welcome to the "club". We'll be your support group, if an addiction should develop. If? Ha, ha, ha.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Congratulations, cousin. A beautiful tartan - but I'm probably biased. I received my Lamont modern tank from Keltoi about a year ago - my first kilt (but certainly not the last). Wear it with pride.

Congratulations on joining the kilted.
This is a good place to be when starting this addiction. If I'd been on the forum before purchasing my first kilt, I would have saved myself money and frustration.
Btw, welcome to the forum.
