    Casual footwear

My pac boots finally gave up the ghost. While searching for a new pair I ran across these.

I think they'd be ideal for traipsing the fields and woods.

Word! Perfectly fine boots for outdoorsy informal wear. I'd wear them without hesitation. I wear my Docs usually for this purpose.

    Nice looking boots.
They would be good for casual trail hiking.
I would be careful of soft muddy trails, though. Having spent a lot of time involved in operations where there was a good bit of mud, those soles would have a tendency to clog if you were walking any distance in the goo.

Don't know how Sorel boots are now but when i bought some 10 years ago they KILLED my feet. Swore I'd never own another pair of them.
But Hey! What do I know? They might be a right fine boot now.

I've been looking for some new casual / hiking boots. These may just fit the bill; I really like their look. Thanks for posting!

And there's also these, which I didn't notice when I made the OP.
