Lucky you! Lagavulin 16 is on my todo list. I love the peat monsters!

On the 14th, my wife and I had New World Czech and his wife over for dinner and cards. The wives trounced us handily. In his quaich was a dram of Glenkinchie Distillers Reserve, in mine, Talisker 57 North.

It was a very nice evening with very good friends. I couldn't wish for more, but Fly where is the braggart's pic of the bar?

I am mourning the loss of my Dalwhinnie 15. Alright, I did not lose it, I drank it, alright! Now I am reduced to drowning my sorrows in wine (egad). I drank a bit of something white, and now I have had more than a few glasses of Burgundy (from a big glass jug, don't ask where the grapes were grown). In Vino Veritas. Whatever. Anyone else having a wee dram in their quaich this evening (morning or afternoon)? Slainte!

Glenfiddich - it was on offer over Xmas so we stocked up.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!
