Looking to hire a couple of kilts for my groomsmen.
I was looking for a good place to hire kilts for my wedding party. The most promising site I've seen is www.kiltrentalusa.com. I'd like to go somewhere local but I can't find anywhere in Oregon. Have any of you used this site before? Heard any good or bad things? Have any other suggestions?

I'm afraid I can't be of much help with that company. However, one of our advertisers, Celtic Croft, does rentals.

I've purchased from them several times over the years, and their service has always been good. Always happy to answer your questions.

I have used kilt rentalusa. They did a very good job. If things needed replacing or resizing they had the replacements overnighted in plenty of time for the event. Friendly efficient staff.

The Scottish Tartan Museum, also an advertiser here, does rentals as well.

Assuming you're in the Portland area, give The Scottish Country Shop a call. They do rentals.

I used KiltRental.com aka http://kilt4hire.com/ and worked with Colleen a couple of years ago.
I was so happy with the low-key, but prompt service and kilt package that I ended up wanting to act on my long-time desire to buy a kilt, joined XMarks, got some great advice, and now have a 16oz wool and two pv kilts and am looking to add another wool kilt to the closet.
Note that kiltrental.com is the older site and is not well designed. I used it as a guide, then email and the phone to actually order. The kilt4hire site is more usable.
