    Early morning hike

One of my hobbies is wildlife photography. Did an early morning hike this morning around Watson Lake, one of the local lake, to see what was hanging out.

    Photos from this morning...

    Double Crested Cormorant

    Northern Shoveler

    A few Red-winged Blackbirds

American Coot and male and female Green-winged Teals

I'll post more, if there is any interest.

Beautiful photographs! - Audubon Society quality. Love the Red-winged Blackbirds - one of my favorite Aves. Thanks for posting. I'm an old American Coot myself.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Those are great pictures! I am also a fan of the red-winged black bird. That double breasted cormorant is a wonderful picture.

Excellent photographs. I can tell you've been doing this for a while.

I, too, do nature and landscape photography - some while kilted. I could share some of them - but, I watermark mine with a web addy so they may not be acceptable here.

If you are too busy to laugh, you are too busy.

Very nice shots. My favorite is the Meadowlark. I used to see a lot of those when I was a kid in Oregon, Idaho, and Utah.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Beautiful shots. I took my son hiking this past weekend and saw a couple snowy owls... we were both excited about those. Just wish i had a camera to take their pictures.
