    First wool kilt.

I will being ordering my first wool kilt very soon. I'm leaning to one tartan but have a few choices picked out and I would just like to hear some in put from the rabble. Here are the choices.

Those are some pretty tough choices.
I liked the Auld Lang Syne Burns MM16oz. but I don't think you would go wrong with any of them.

They're all great-looking tartans and each would make a beautiful kilt. I vote for the Douglas Weathered, but I am biased. I own one. Good luck on your decision. Can't wait to see it on you.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I favor the Douglas Green Muted, but they are all handsome.

I went for the Black Watch Muted, but then I've always liked the muted Campbell.

While they all look nice I think Douglas Weathered is the way to go.

Will a weathered tartan kilt be suitable for everything from casual to black tie, that is a very important part of this choice.

    You are overthinking this.
Any coloursceme is suitable from casual to black tie.
