Once arrived in the square, I found vendor tents, musicians, even one clan tent (I didn't know we could convene at the kilt run; I'll have to check on that for next time.

) I didn't get a good picture of the pipe and drum band, but you can see some of the members in a couple of the photos.

Looks like you had good weather for the run.

How many kilts on the run? Did you set the record?

Did not break the record. 1430 kilted runners. Needed 1765 to break the record. 2300+ runners in the 8K. All registration money goes to local charities.

Nice pics. Thanks for posting. I like your kilted outfit for running. 1430 kilts may not have broken the record, but that's still a lot of pleats. Congratulations!

I used to sit in FSU's baseball stadium and watch the Seminoles play the USA Jaguars, when they were coached by Eddie Stanky. He was a firebrand and they always played a tough game. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks. It was fun being part of such a huge crowd of kilted folk.

My wife and I both attended USA. One of my nephews went there on a baseball scholarship and they were Sunbelt Conference champions one of his seasons. The USA basketball program was pretty good, too.
