It's time.
It's time for a renewal of a Seattle-based kilt night. I'm thinking monthly, until a better suggestion comes along.
I haven't been on this forum for a while, but now I'm back, so let's do this. We started a group called WACKOS some time ago and it was pretty cool. I remain friends with some of my fellow WACKOS to this day. But, we haven't met for an X-Marks-based kilt night in a long time, and I think that there's kilted lads (and some lovely lasses) out there in/near the great Emerald City.
Who's with me?

Well if I wasn't two plus hours away I'd sure support you, but we're having a Kilted Night Out here in Northern Oregon next week on Tuesday. Good gathering to you up there....

Yes, good idea. I'm within a reasonable distance from Seattle. If I'm not back from sea for March, then I will be for April. What where you thinking for a date or algorithm? Ironically, weekends might be harder for me, though not impossible. Kilted Friday is bandied about elsewhere on the forum, Kilt night could extend it? Perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself, I'll wait for further responses before speculating too much.

I'm not against Fridays, or any day of the week for that matter. It just depends on what works for everybody. Haven't seen much interest yet, so we'll wait until the numbers grow a bit.
Also, I think that I'll reach out to some of my fellow old-school WACKOS and see if any of them that no longer visit this forum are interested.

I'd have interest. I'm Tacoma-based.
If I can get the wife and daughter to free me from my chains I'd be good to go. Or either, a family-friendly place that will still serve me a dram of whiskey.
Anyone sports fans? I'd love to do kilted Sounders or Mariners meet-up.
Maybe I'm typing too much here, but there's a butcher shop in Auburn, WA called Proper British Bacon. I'd even be down for grilling out and preparing some o' the ol' haggis.

I'm always down for some haggis. I hate that we get this concentration of Burns' nights in Jan and then nothing for months.
Also, I love the idea of a kilted Sounders FC match. Half of the time I go to a match, I'm kilted.
