Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then.

"Against the Wind" - Bob Seger

He has done some really fine work, but that's my favorite line of all.

I'll still drop in with the occasional comment in this forum, just won't log here. I've certainly not stopped training! In fact i had a long practice yesterday while the rain held off, and I'll be back in the gym today with more speed work.

I've been doing daily footwork drills a la Pockoski since January. It was time to try some rotational stone throws. #1, #4 and #5 aren't bad. #2 and #3 are awful. None of them are GOOD, there's a mess of work to do, but at least I'm getting through the good ones balanced, now. Another thousand reps and I'll be on to something!

Need to initiate by rotating both feet, need to pre-rotate the right foot in the center and TORQUE it to drive me around. Need to knock my knees together, need to feel the stretch in my left side when I set up the block behind the board. Need to not drop my left side. Need to focus "out front" in the middle of the throw to build spearation. LOTTA work to do.

But this is still a big WIN...the best rotational throws ever.
