    button design on buckle

    Well, as long as I've been at this, I still see something new to me all the time.

    Here's a buckle that has the standard button design on it.

    The description speaks of it as being especially designed to match the buttons on formal jackets. Talk about matchy-matchy! If true.

    (BTW I did a thread quite a while back about that Gaelic inscription on buttons, as being hard to decipher because of 1) poorly re-cast buttons 2) potential malformation of certain letters or misspelling and 3) the fact that some of the words don't appear in my Gaelic dictionary.)
