Portland Last Tuesday kilt night - March 25th

Dude! You may be missing our first kilt night with a pleasant server, as I called ahead and warned them a group is descending on the pub tonight. I'm presenting the new captain of PDXYar! with his first kilt tonight as well, and pirates pretty much guarantee things might get a wee bit bawdy.

Thank you everyone for coming out tonight! This was definitely the biggest and best kilt night thus far, and things are definitely moving forward and attracting some great people. Our servers were fabulous tonight too. I talked with them this morning and again on our way out and they're expecting us on the last Tuesday from now on.

We had two n00bs getting kilted up for the first time tonight too. Neil made his debut to a hearty round of applause, and of course the kilt presentation and ceremonial dropping of the trousers by the new head pirate of PDXYar, Captain Fjord Porkins. Apologies for not giving any advance warning, but the reactions were pretty priceless.

Had a great time tonight (as usual). Really got a kick out of the people surrounding us as Bob (Ratspike) graciously presented a kilt to Captain Porkins who immediately dropped his trousers then and there and donned the kilt.

I certainly encourage others to join us for these monthly socials!

I'd like to send a LARGE well wishes to RGRatSea and his wife Penny, as they depart on a wonderful journey by air, sea and land, on their way to a wonderful extended journey to Scotland and surrounding area! Clan Stewart has a son and daughter coming home for the activities surrounding The Battle of Bannockburn and their clan family.

Take many photos, hold many memories in your hearts and "walk in a good way".
