Cameron of Erracht muted: kilt picture anyone?

    Hi,

If anyone has pictures of a kilt made in the Cameron of Erracht muted tartan, I'd very much like to see them. There are several pics of this particular tartan on the Internet - but since I'm not really a visual person... I'd like to see photos of a kilt!

    Thanks in advance!

    Alain

I have one that I made myself. I don't have photos of it at the moment, but I will see about getting some on here for you.

Not a problem. I pleated it to the bar so it looks different in back. The buckles are in antiqued metal. Here it is below:

Thanks. I went to Marton Mills to purchase some tartan. I bought 4 meters each of 3 different tartans. I saw a length of this tartan (already cut and standing in the corner) and was admiring it when the boss walked into the room. He threw it in with my order for free. I thought it might be a couple meters or something, but when I measured it it was 4 meters. It was enough for a kilt so my course of action became clear.

Thanks again Arnot! You've answered the question I had in mind in your previous post... I was under the impression the material might come from House of Edgar... This tartan pleated to the bar is very nice indeed!
