Traveling, so away from the war chest . Last night with a shrimp po'boy I had a very refreshing Woodchuck Pear Cider (hard) that I may have to stock in my fridge for the summer. For dessert, a pint of Old Chub Scotch Ale.

Where did you get your shrimp po'boy? Before we left the Gulf Coast, I used to get baby oyster loaf all the time.
Oh, and BTW, Old Pulteney 12 tonight. Slainte!

Shrimpey's in Treasure Island just north of St Pete's Beach, FL. More "Cap'n Dan's Drunken Shrimp" at the tourist trap Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. last night---my boy's choice of dinner venue. Steered clear of the alcohol due to the gut still adjusting to the local micro-fauna (aka mild case of tourista).

I worked up a thirst at Scottish country dance class tonight, so I've had a few wee drams of Old Pulteney 12. Slainte!

Opened up a bottle of Justerini & Brooks. Not bad at all for a lower end scotch.

I had to Google it, and then recognized the picture of a bottle of J&B blended Scotch. I've not had that. I'll add that to my to do list.
Oh, and it's more Old Pulteney 12 tonight. int:

Never knew that J&B meant Justerini & Brooks. You learn something new every day.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Allen, if I ever get to North Carolina, I am looking you up. If you ever get to the San Francisco area, send me a message and we'll have a little toast to X Marks and Wick. Old Pulteney 12 is a nice scotch. Having the Navigator later tonight, but love the 12.

I shared a wee dram of Old Pulteney 12 with some folks that stopped by the Clan Sinclair tent at the Loch Norman Highland Games this past weekend. Tonight, having worked up a thirst at Scottish country dance class, I'm having several wee drams of J.W. Dant's Blended Scotch Whisky. I can't believe nobody has had a wee dram in over a week. Come on Rabble, share.
