Southern Oregon Highland Games - May 3rd

Hey all,

On Saturday May 3rd, the first Elk Mountain Highland Games & May Day Festival will commence in Southern Oregon (Rogue River, exit 48). It's a fundraiser for our rural community center and we'll have Scottish Heavy Athletics, an Edged Weapons Course, a Beard & Braid contest, May Pole celebration, and lots of great music including the Jefferson Pipe Band, a special guest of Galician bagpipers, Celtic rockers Circle of Stone and more. There's no camping on site this year, but we're having a meeting tomorrow and I will ask about camping at one of our organizers. We're all out in the country so we should be able to find a spot for you. Will let you know before the weekend. - Mike
